Movie: Six-String Samurai. The world ended under nuclear fire in the 50's, all civilization was lost, except Los Vegas.

Vegas is redubbed Lost Vegas, and Elvis is King. Fifty years later, his time's up, and they're holding auditions for the new King.

That's when Buddy starts making his way across the wastelands towards Vegas.

That is literally the premise of the movie, but it's actually entertaining.

Book: Scorpion Shards and Thief of Souls. Just leant these to Saera, and she loves them. I've read them both three times, and they're awesome. It's about these six kids who all have these different sort of curses, because they're souls have been possessed by different monsters. One of them has to very elaborately break stuff, or he goes nuts. One of them is afraid of *everything*, because her demon feeds on fear. That sort of thing.

The book's awesome, if you see a copy somewhere, I recommend it.

Audioslave's my most recent band favorite...I especially like "I Am The Highway" and "Getaway car".

Dinner: Waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, with a side of sausage and scrambled eggs.

Website: phoffman's got a good start.
