I was actually thinking about it, and doesn't Saddam have, like, twenty body doubles that are almost perfect matches to him? Do we really have concrete proof that it's him?
He had a lot of body doubles, but it was more like 8. And after Baghdadfell alot of them were captured. Plus the day after caught him his doctor said that that was indeed him, which you can take either way.
Then, if you're still not convinced, we took DNA samples, compared those to the ones we got from his sons and other examples... and they are a match.
