I'm unsure why, but LJ is distasteful to me lately. Not all of it. I read my friend's page often. But I'm never in the mood to post. I feel obligated to. I'm tired of seeing that post about the Tiger and I being so sick. That was an unfun experience.
Needless to say, that's well and over. (thank god).
Also, in big news, we finally found our place. We moved in two weeks ago, and everything's relatively peachy. I've got all the major bits of my furniture out there. We have cooking utensils, and food galore (that was my first priority). We still, however, do not have phone and internet. That's mostly my fault. I'm going to try and call about that this evening.
At any rate. It's certainly kept me away from the internet, in recent days... not like I've been missing much, however. There's not much to miss, overall... so long as I can keep track of those friendships I've forged. That's important to me, whether it should be or not.
The relationship with my parents hasn't ceased being moderately stressfull... mostly my mother. Isn't this the way it always is? At least I have a seperate place to anchor myself. That helps a lot. I've needed less sleep, and felt like I needed less fuel for my body by a significant margin. I feel healthier. I feel beautiful. I feel lonely, off and on, which is strange... but I know the root of that longing. I also have the sneaking suspicion that my car is sick. It doesn't concern me too deeply at this point, however... since, if the car -is- in fact ill, I don't -have- to drive it. I can get to my place of work, and Tiger can get to his, without the wheels.
I am fast losing inspiration for writing this entry. I think I'm going to go listen to DCD and... Not... post any more.
