The conversation prior was my response to (yet another) razor/shaving cream substitute commercial with the beautiful woman rubbing all over the studly guys oh-so-smooth face.
I said it would be more effective marketing if they included, in the commercial, how much better said studly man would be able to go down on his girlfriend if he had 'the closest shave known to man'.

The statement is probably more revealing about himself rather than about to whom he was refering.
