So there I was...
I've observed something in the last few weeks about LJ and my interaction with it. In the last several months, or really maybe longer than that as it's a somewhat casual thing for me, I've added a variety of people to my friends list on a whim... people that I've stumbled upon in one fashion or another, but otherwise don't know anything about beyond finding them on LJ. I like making new friends, and I like reading and learning new things about/from people who live different lifestyles than me, or are from different places, or whatever.
I feel like I've gotten a really good batch this year... I read, with interest, most of the posts on my friends list these days... and I've -noticed- that I'm really enjoying a lot of the journals I've found recently. Among people that I follow, a nice mixture of good friends and strangers, there seems to be a high and consistent level of wit, intelligence, interesting news, and fun things.
Thank you for being fabulous. :)
Also, I'm in Alaska now, sipping contentedly on a cup of Kaladi coffee. Yum.
