Oh, YES.

Nightwish? Still pwns my face. Have times changed? Yes. Are there things I will miss about the band's prior sound? Yes.

That said, I wasn't even a tiny bit disappointed. Annette is as powerful a singer as she is a performer, and every member is ungodly good at what they're doing. It was an incredible show! Paradise Lost, whom I hadn't heard priorto and hadn't paid any attention to the fact that they were playing, was also a pleasant surprise.

Some of this is redundant: I reworked a scene I posted earlier on a bit and tied it to the rest of the beginning. I don't want to leave the big holes for too long or else I'll never tie them in!
