Apparently, the God of Law thinks it's funny to send me jury summons when my life is at its most unstable point, and close to when I'm supposed to be undertaking a major, cross-state move. 

The God of Law would think it's funny to do something like that, specifically to people like me.

/shake fist.  Fucking Order.

I might be able to get out of it since I am supposed to be moving... and I had to sit on the jury last time... I can't remember how long that makes you exempt from having to do it again though.

Jury laws vary from state to state and even county to county, but I believe the jury pool in most locations is set up to automatically exempt people who are supposed to be. If you've gotten another summons, I'd guess that your exemption has run out. Since you are moving, though, you should indeed be able to get out of it, as long as it's during or reasonably close to the time you were summoned to serve.
