crowsI'm going to apply for a vocal scolarship. My lunch lady, at school, saw the blurb in the paper and immediately tore it out to give me... (she's such a nice woman...) I have to prepare three peices to audition with. One is going to be one of the two Arias I have memorized (Alma del Core, or Gial Sole dal Gange...). I'll probably find some hearty broadway, as well... but the third song.
I want to do something esoteric. Something that no one else will be doing anything like. Something goth, but still something that I can sing and that will lay a mark to the fact that I -do- have tallent, and passion. I'm thinking something by Nightwish, perhaps 'Ever Dream', or Within Temptation's 'Our Farewell'. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd love them, I really would. Even stuff I may well not know. If I can find it... I have time to learn, AND practice.
I'll do better this time. LA, being satan's city, was a disaster *shudder* But I'm on my turf now. *grin*
